New Executive Director of Regeneration
01/02/2010
The appointment comes at a key stage in the town’s on-going regeneration programme and completes the Council’s senior management team under Chief Executive Ian Parker.
The 46-year-old joined Middlesbrough Council in 2003 following spells with Hartlepool, Wear Valley and Durham County.
He was Head of Planning and Development for Middlesbrough, and has been acting Director of Regeneration since the departure of Tim White.
Kevin said: “I’m taking up a very important role at a time when the public sector faces great challenges and falling resources.
“My focus will therefore be on ensuring that we continue to provide the community with excellent and responsive services while ensuring that the momentum made moving the town forward is maintained and further developed.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity in a great area and I’m looking forward to making a real difference.”
